On Saturday, November 5th, Be The Change was honored with helping the Gary Sinise Foundation at their annual Run Forest Run 5k and the opening ceremonies for the Murrieta Field of Honor.
What a great day celebrating our nation’s veterans, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who won the highest service honor, the Medal of Honor, and those who came home suffering great losses fighting for our freedom and defending the land where we live. Murrieta is truly a special town and community that really appreciates their fire fighters, police officers, first responders and of course, our Nation’s Veterans. Remember to thank your veterans, police officers, fire fighters and EMS first responders; I cannot imagine where we would all be without them. Pray for them. Pray for their families, too, who sacrifice their time with their families in support of their wives and husbands, sons and daughters serving to protect all of us.
The Field of honor was so moving, as was meeting Juan and Nick, recipients of adaptive homes from The Gary Sinise Foundation due to the losses they sustained while serving our country. The Gary Sinise Foundation, serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. They do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
We loved our time together with our Youngevity runners and the conversations we had. Harold and Rene Davis, Dave and I cherished our time together during and after at this wonderful event.
