Highlighted below are some of our most frequently asked questions for the Be The Change 5K run/walk.


We make it easy ! Just register online to secure your spot.
Absolutely. This is a family-friendly event and we encourage your kids to participate. We even have a special discounted Youth price ($20) for kids aged 8-17. Plus, children under 8 can run for free – no registration necessary. So, make this run an annual family tradition!
Yes, you can. Plus, any child under 8 can participate free and they don’t need to register.
YES! We LOVE to bring our furry little running companions too! Feel free to bring any well-behaved/trained dog with leashes for this running event.
It’s not required, but if you wait, we highly recommend heading there first thing to make your race day easier. Bib pick-up will be available the day of the race, starting at 2:30PM.

We have a special discounted rate at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. Feel free to book your reservation here – first come, first served!
Yes, transfers are allowed through Tuesday, September 17 for a $10 fee. Please submit all transfer requests here
We can’t issue refunds, but we do allow transfers through Tuesday, September 17 for a $10 fee. So, feel free to transfer to a friend!  
Sure. There’s plenty of parking for all runners on-site at Spanish Landing. Parking is metered, so please bring some change with you! Youngevity Convention attendees are offered a free shuttle service starting at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on Saturday at 2:00pm.  
The 5K course is flat and 100% paved. It’s right along the San Diego harbor with beautiful sights along the way!
No, but the event does end at 5:30PM so you’ll have two hours to complete the 5K and cross the finish line.
